Me and my girlfriend have been together many a years, I am not the best looking man or the smartest, It really comes down to how you act and when you act, brains prove more powerful than muscles in anycase. For example referring women as "chicks" "Babes" "Danes" ect, isnt very wise , this world would truly be better with women like you brianna lol

i have a theory about physical appearance and couples. generally speaking, people tend to get together with others that are similar in "physical attractiveness". in other words, on a "hotness" scale of 1 to 10 if youre a 7 on that scale, youre very likely to date or marry someone else that is also a 7 on the scale.

there are always exceptions to the rule like money. ugly rich guy dating or married to a supermodel or vice versa, there will always be "odd" couples but i believe that the majority fall into my categorization.

there are obviously many other factors that i've not considered like education, economics, race, etc. but generally speaking, i believe this theory to be true.

This is kind of a generalization, but somewhat true. Look at all the richest men in the world, do any of them strike you as the type that would have been studs with the ladies in high school? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...res_%282007%29 for more info).

I think this is usually because the prettyboys tend to think they can cruise through life on their good looks and bumming off their gf's. Most people like this usually end up barely scraping an existence and end up on Cops.

personality, balls, good sense of humor, and some skills behind closed doors that shouldn't be discussed on a forum which the younger crowd participates in for fear of polluting their mind. these are the things that get the girl and keep her.

From what I hear, most women don't hold that in priority.
--------------------------------------------------------------
In connection with romance though, that is a different story. Of the two sexes, men are the romantic ones. Romance is even a stage of our lives if we admit to it. A lot of men are afriad to admit to it because they'd look like a sensitive pansy or something. However, after marriage even the romantic ones fizzle out.

That is the purpose of the article though, after marriage.

Take it from a guy who collects saltwater fish here:
1. You need a clear net and a quick hand, and a peice of food helps alot too.
-Romantic stage kicks in and you set up for the catch.
2. Find the healthiest, coolest, and most beautiful fish.
-You see/meet/know a girl who stands out in the crowd.
3. Locate the fish's common hiding spots and swimming patterns.
-Never plan one marrying someone you know nothing about, you'll fail for sure.
4. Lure the fish into the net, then quiclly twist the net up. Fish swim down and wont escape through the top initialy.
-Go on dates, get her to trust you, pop the question, you're now engaged and shes lost in love and doesnt know how to get out.
5. Keep the fish alive with a bubbler and the right temps on the way home.
-Don't give her any reason to run out of the chapel just before saying "I do".
6. Acclimate the fish to the water conditions in your fishtank. MOST IMPORTANTLY, MAKE SURE THE FISH CAN LIVE IN THE WATER.
-Don't just drop your wedding pants *ahem* and then change into normal clothes! Ease her into the new life... BUT MAKE SURE THE NEW LIFE IS SUITABLE FOR HER! (Might have to make some changes.. Boohoo, is she worth it? Yes! Now get working on it you selfish bastard)
7. Keep carring for the fish, and enjoy its beauty and presence. Don't just say "I got it" and ignore it. That food you put in the net to help catch it shouldnt be the last thing it eats.
-Don't starve the poor woman of romance, she needs it.
--------------------------------------------------------------

What does this have to do with the article? The best fish are the prettiest, either in personality or looks. The looks of the catcher matter not, its his skill and care that keeps that fish alive and healthy.

Romance is a skill, and men love being skilled, why be ashamed of this one?

(Note: Sex doesnt cut it, you need to do more than that)

Yes, very true, i agree, totally, but having a relationship in which you are not sexually attracted to someone is about the hardest thing you can do, in the end we all are motivated by the primal instinct that keeps humans defined as animals.

And little mention of love?
Sad to think some people sell out their heart for an advance in their career or because they were impatient or just greedy. Vanity FTL. If only true emotions had such an easy graphical representation as your face/body.

Love is a term thrown around so much these days, it has so little meaning, the only love is the love you prove.

im aware thats script. its on tv like, i only ment that sometimes it can work out like that.

Looks are a factor. for some more/less than others.
As most of the time looks are what get you noticed. weather your really dressed up. or your that walking mess because your late for work.

money CAN be a factor. again some more/less than others.
if your used to growing up with money marrying someone who cant provide you with your usual lifestyle(if your that little bit shallow) can be hard.

The Human Psyche is diverse. Everythings Different To Different People.
thats why people are attracted to each other.
if everyone was the same.. it wouldnt work.

but then again. was avoidiong my personal story by that quote too. as i mean is that love can come in the strangest of ways.

i think people think that's being 'in love', maybe people just fall in love with that feeling? it's probably the closest most people get to feeling truely happy, maybe people fall in love with true happiness? or maybe being in love is being with the person that gives you true happiness? i could say i'm in love with love. and people who say they're not are bulshitting. because if you KNOW what "Love" is to be able to deny revelling in it, then there must be at lease SOMETHING in you wanting it more and more and more.
if you say you hate love, then you have never been in love. the only people who say that are guaranteed to be lonely. single. if they were IN love, then they wouldnt be saying that at all. what they really hate is not HAVING love.
because tey dont HAVE the thing that they love. Which is love. But you have to LOVE someone to LOVE love.

Attraction Is Only The Start Of the Overall Process.

Yea, It is thrown around meaninglessly far too much anymore. Makes things more difficult for those who still hold meaning in that word.

True, and showing it every day, even in the smallest ways possible goes farther than most people would ever think.

"im happy in her company. im happy texting her. im happy once i have her attention" having a talk.. with someone last night.. i said this.
And I Feel That Is Love. In a Small Part Of It.
Love Is A Small REALLY over Used Word. But When Used Right.
and When You Can See The Person Useing It, Means It.
It Gives The Word Its Real Purpose Back.
To Show It In the Smallest Even Unseen Ways

We tend to want to spend time around people that allow us to lie to ourselves easier.
